Eng. Kamal Ghoneim is a self-made Egyptian engineer whose journey began in 1968 with a simple belief: “No one will build Egypt but Egyptians.” From his early days founding EFKO Electromechanical Engineering, he dedicated his life to building the infrastructure of modern Egypt—leading major national projects in roads, water stations, sewage, and electricity, and contributing to the establishment and development of cities such as Mokattam, New Cairo, Sadat City, Badr City, North Coast, and many more across the country His work laid the foundation for thousands of kilometers of roads and utilities that have shaped communities for generations. Later, driven by the same purpose, he expanded into real estate and investment, founding The Egyptian Company in Real Estate Investment in 2006 and Cairo Green in 2015, where he reclaimed and cultivated thousands acres of land for agricultural exports Known for his discipline, patient, and love for Egyptian soil, Eng. Kamal Ghoneim built more than companies—he built opportunity, value, and a legacy of service to his country.
