Islam Ghoneim is the Vice Chairman & CEO of Ghoneim Developments Group (GDG) and a driving force behind the company’s modern vision and strategic growth. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Management and Technology (UMT), USA, earned in 2010. In June 2025, he was appointed Vice Chairman & CEO of Ghoneim Developments Group, where he leads GDG with a forward-thinking approach focused on innovation, sustainable expansion, and strengthening the group’s position across Egypt’s real estate, agricultural, and tourism investment landscape. As the Co-founder of Cairo Green, he played a major role in transforming it into a leading agribusiness platform, exporting high-quality produce to Europe, Asia, and the GCC. Prior to joining GDG, Islam held influential leadership roles within the global Al Habtoor Group, contributing to major sectors including hospitality, automotive, real estate, and education, while managing operations across multiple international markets. Known for his discipline, insight, and passion for national development, Islam continues to build on his family’s legacy by empowering teams, nurturing sustainable growth, and shaping a future-focused vision for GDG and Egypt.
